Georgia Power‘s EarthCents Home Energy Improvement Program enables homeowners to qualify for rebates worth hundreds or even a couple thousand dollars. There are two approaches – “Whole-House” or “Individual Improvements” – when looking for ways to enjoy home energy savings.
- Whole House Option. A comprehensive approach that assesses all your home’s systems. A Building Performance Institute (BPI)-certified contractor will perform a comprehensive home energy assessment using cutting-edge software. The contractor will then identify specific energy-saving measures and home improvements to reduce energy costs. Once the recommended improvements are successfully completed, a follow up assessment will determine the resulting energy performance and customers can receive a rebate up to $2,200 based on the energy savings actually achieved.
- Individual Improvements. If the “Whole-House” approach does not fit your needs, take advantage of “Individual Improvements” and receive up to$700 in rebates, depending on the energy efficiency improvements made.
